Return and refund policy

1. Return period

For products purchased in the MancsLab webshop we offer a 30-day return option. This means that you can notify us of your intention to return a product within 30 days of receiving it.

Under the consumer right of withdrawal applicable in the European Union, you may withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product. MancsLab provides a 30-day return period, longer than the statutory 14 days, provided that the product meets the conditions of this policy.

2. Conditions for returns

A product can be returned if it is in the same condition as when you received it: unused, undamaged, complete and, where possible, in its original packaging.

A proof of purchase is required for the return, such as the invoice, order confirmation or other document proving the purchase.

For health, hygiene or single-use products, we cannot take back opened, used or applied products for hygiene reasons, unless the product is demonstrably defective or the law provides otherwise.

3. How to return

To start the return process, please write to us at the following e-mail address: info@mancslab.hu.

Please include in your e-mail:

• the order number,
• the customer’s name,
• the name of the product you wish to return,
• the reason for the return or withdrawal, if you wish to provide it,
• for a defective or damaged product, a photo or short description of the problem.

Please do not return products without contacting us first, as we cannot always properly identify or process returns that have not been announced in advance.

4. Damaged, defective or incorrectly sent products

Please check your shipment after receiving the parcel. If the product arrived defective or damaged, or you did not receive the product you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at info@mancslab.hu.

We will investigate the case based on your report and inform you of the possible solutions, such as replacement, credit or refund.

5. Non-returnable products

We cannot accept returns of certain products, in particular in the following cases:

• opened, used or applied hygiene or health-related products,
• single-use, opened diagnostic or rapid test products,
• perishable products or products with a short expiry date,
• products made to order or personalised products,
• gift cards,
• products that cannot be resold due to improper use, damage or an incomplete return.

6. Exchanges

If you would like a different product, the quickest solution is usually to place a new order for the desired product once the return process has been completed.

For defective, damaged or incorrectly sent products, we will agree the possibility of an exchange with you separately.

7. The 14-day right of withdrawal in the European Union

For online purchases in the European Union, consumers have the right to withdraw without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product, except in the cases specified by law.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement, for example by e-mail to info@mancslab.hu.

Exercising the right of withdrawal does not affect the exceptions under which certain products – for example opened products that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection – cannot be returned.

8. Refunds

Once we have received and inspected the returned product, we will notify you by e-mail whether your refund request has been approved.

If the refund is approved, the amount is usually refunded to the original payment method. Processing the refund may take up to 10 business days, after which your bank or card issuer may apply additional processing time.

If you have not received the amount within 15 days of the refund being approved, please let us know at info@mancslab.hu.

9. Return shipping costs

In the case of withdrawal or a return based on the customer’s decision, the cost of return shipping is borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed or provided by law.

For defective, damaged or incorrectly sent products, we will inform you separately about the return method and costs.
